Matcha chocolate chip cookies: fresh, sweet and relaxing

These cookies are perfect for summer weather and tea parties. Their midly sweet and refreshing flavor and mild floral aroma makes for a great relaxing treat after a stressful day that anyone can enjoy with a cold or hot drink.

I've been enjoying these since I was a little girl, alongside many other baked goods that my mum made, but these ones always stood out the most to me. The fresh and relaxing green tea mixed with the sweet and slightly bitter chocolate would always make my day whenever she made them.
